Dr. Carmen V. Graves is a board-certified periodontist and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at the Chicago College of Dentistry. She is passionate about periodontics and implant dentistry and has extensive experience in gum grafting, bone regeneration, dental implants, aesthetic periodontal surgery and oral medicine. She is licensed to practice dentistry in Texas and Illinois and holds a periodontics specialist license in Illinois.
Dr. Graves completed her periodontics residency program at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas where she received her Certificate in periodontics and Master of Science in oral biology degree. Dr. Graves completed her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and a Master in Periodontics degree in Peru. She is a member of several dental organizations, including:
- American Dental Association
- American Academy of Periodontology
- Midwest Society of Periodontology
She is a native of Cusco, Peru, but is proud to call Chicago her home. In her free time, Dr. Graves and her husband, Peter, enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, watching movies and kayaking. She also enjoys practicing archery.
