Dental School: University of Illinois Dental School (1996)
Postgraduate Training: General Practice Residency Certificate from Northwestern University Hospital. This GP residency is available only to the top graduating dental students. This one year advanced training allowed me to perfect my skills in all facets of dentistry, perform dental research, and get advanced training by specialists prior to entering private practice.
Continuing Education: Completed orthodontic program for general dentists. I have been providing orthodontic treatment (braces) for the past four years. I get a tremendous satisfaction from improving the patient’s smile and improving their bite. I also have advanced training in cosmetic dentistry (including lumineers and veneers). I continue to take continuing education courses in General Dentistry, Implants, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Endodontics.
Personal – We opened Valley View Dental in 1999. Since then we have grown by leaps and bounds. I believe the reason for this is the personalized treatment we provide for our patients. Every staff member understands and respects our patients and each other. This type of environment is what makes our office unique and comfortable place for dental care.

Dr. Catherine Rhim has also done internships working with handicapped children and in nursing homes, working with the elderly and providing geriatric dental care. Furthermore, Dr Rhim has completed several courses in Invisalign (orthodontics), Lumineers ( no prep veneers), implants, oral surgery and endodontics.

Personal – During her free time, Dr Catherine Rhim enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys travelling, fine dining, and watching live theater.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of the dental profession and truly enjoy being a dentist. I find it a very rewarding profession and find personal satisfaction in relieving patients' pain, boosting their self confidence, seeing their healthy smiles emerge and improving their overall health.”
Dr. Micaletti has received his Certificate and Masters Degree of Science in Periodontology at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago.
He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Simplant Dentistry. He has completed numerous hours of continuing education specializing in periodontal plastic surgery, pre-prosthodontic surgery and dental implants.
