Dr. Graves is passionate about Periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Graves has extensive experience in gum grafting, bone regeneration, dental implants, aesthetic periodontal surgery, oral medicine. She completed her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and Master in Periodontics in Peru. Her top qualifications and commitment for excellence provided her with the foundation to pursue further training in Periodontics at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where she completed her second graduate Periodontics program and her Master of Science in Oral Biology degree. During her training, she was a recipient of the "Bettye M. Whiteaker" Scholarship.
Dr. Graves also serves as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. Dr. Graves is a published author of numerous research papers in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implantology.
She is an active member of the Midwest Society of Periodontology, the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP).
Dr. Graves is licensed to practice dentistry in Texas and Illinois. She also holds a Periodontics Specialist license in Illinois.
Interests and Activites
In her free time, Dr. Graves and her husband Peter enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
